Her story with words began long before she ever stepped onto a stage.

As a child, PoeticButterfly struggled to read and write. By the third grade, she had not yet developed the skills that came naturally to many of her classmates. She often felt quiet, withdrawn, and unsure of where her voice belonged. Until a teacher took an interest in her.

That teacher saw something beyond the struggle. He took the time to teach PoeticButterfly how to read and write and that gave her more than a skill. 

It opened a door.

A door to language.
A door to imagination.
A door to possibility.
A door to her voice.

Years later, the little girl who once struggled to put words on a page would become a woman who puts her words on stages.

Today, PoeticButterfly uses those same tools—words, storytelling, poetry, and expression to inspire others to discover the power within their own voice.

Her journey is a living reminder that sometimes the thing you struggle with in one chapter can become the very thing that gives you purpose in another.
