The Night F.L.O.E. Was Born
God doesn’t wait for perfection. He meets you in your mess, in your stillness, in your searching.
Then He elevates you to where He needs you to be.
In the Fall of 2005, I was sitting on the floor in my bedroom, surrounded by scattered CD cases, quietly placing each disc back where it belonged.
Nothing about that night felt extraordinary.
Until it did.
I picked up a CD, E-40’s The Ballatician.
The title stopped me.
The image held me.
There he was, standing at home plate on a baseball field, poppin’ his colla, staring out across the diamond.
I imagined him reflecting on every base he passed, every trial he endured to make it home.
The grit.
The grind.
The glory.
The cover wasn’t just a photo, it was a metaphor.
A man who survived the grit and grind of the hustle, now standing in his power.
The word, "Ballatician" echoed in my spirit.
It caused me to search what "ician" meant.
Physician. Beautician. Technician.
A suffix of mastery.
A title of skill.
A name for someone who’s certified in their craft.
I sat there, heart racing, asking myself:
What have I mastered?
What do I specialize in?
And it hit me.
I write.
I speak.
I create.
I’ve been through the grit. I’ve survived the grind.
I turn pain into poetry, struggle into story and silence into sound.
I’ve mastered my floe, the rhythm, the movement, the divine cadence of my gift.
I'm a Floetician!
That night, God whispered purpose into my spirit.
Not with thunder. Not with lightning.
But through a CD cover, a quiet room, and a heart ready to receive.
I popped my colla!
Not in arrogance—but in affirmation.
That night, I didn’t just find a CD.
I found my calling.
Hence fourth…"FLOETICIAN" The Mastered Art of Your FLOE

Floetician
Meaning:
floe(t) – the core of who you are. It’s what makes you, YOU. Your purpose. Your fire, your essence (what you were created to do)
ician – means mastered (what someone is skilled/proficient in) whatever a person’s (floe) is, is his or her mastered art.
